What is Lucid Remote Desktop?
Lucid Remote Desktop (previously named LucidVNC) combines the power and speed of TightVNC, a derivative of VNC, with the convenience of Lucid's helper application. Lucid Remote Desktop eliminates any configuration by the end user.
How can it help me?
Lucid Remote Desktop immediately connects you to a Lucid consultant. We then diagnose any computer problem you may have. Since we see what you see and share control of the mouse and keyboard, it's as if we're right there in your office or living room with you ... any time of day, any where in the world. When the problem is solved, close the program and the connection closes. We only have access when you run the program.
How do I use it?
It is very easy. Just download and run it. There are no firewalls to configure and no programs to install. It is a one step process. If you have one of our CDs, just drop it in the CD tray. You will definitely want to describe your problem to a Lucid consultant, so please call beforehand (using the phone number provided for available consultants).
